03 Feb Hook a Heart
My Mom has been a crafter for as long as I can remember. She has made so many beautiful things over the years. My sisters and I of course got the benefit of her gift by joining along, learning and making. My youngest sister is the most skilled of the three of us sisters.
Mom is my go to for all things sewing, knitting, quilting, smocking, and related queries. AND how she is an incredibly skilled hooker. Her rug hookings are brilliant. My mom is an artist and her expression is almost always using fibres of some form.
It made sense for me to ask Mom for help to create a beginner kit for rug hooking that utilizes the yarns we make here at the spinning mill. Mom designed this kit last winter and now is seems timely for us to host a workshop.
My Mom (Jane) and I (Patricia) invite you to join us February 14th at the spinning mill to hook a heart.
We will gather at 6 pm.
No experience is necessary.
The cost for the kit is $25.
All you need is a pair of scissors.
Anyone from age 8 to 108 (or under 8 with support, or over 108 with support) is invited to come.
We might even have a little valentines treat for participants. Â (location 10009 hwy 1 greenwich)
